Quran Study Halaqa and Q&A

Sanabil Schools Quran Study Class for Adults
Join us for a Quran study session at Sanabil Elementary School! 

In this engaging Quran class for adults, age 15+, we will dive into the beautiful teachings of the Quran together after Maghrib salah with a halaqa, lecture and Q&A with Ustadh Abdul Samad Kamal.

Sanabil Cultural Day is November 9th!

Join us for Sanabil Schools Cultural Day!

We are excited to invite all of our Sanabil Families — from Pre-K to 5th Grade — to our annual Cultural Day on Saturday, November 9th at Sanabil Elementary School (6855 Deerpath Road), a special event where we celebrate the rich diversity that makes our Sanabil Schools community so unique! This year, we are hosting a potluck, and we encourage all students to dress in cultural clothing and bring a dish that represents their family’s cultural background or heritage (nut-free). Cultural Day is a wonderful opportunity for our students to share a piece of where they come from and to learn about the different cultures within our school family! Cultural Day is a celebration of unity through diversity, and we can’t wait to experience the variety of traditions, flavors, and stories that each of our students and families will bring.

Sanabil Hifz al-Quran Program

Welcome to Sanabil Schools! We are excited to announce our new Sanabil Hifz al’Quran Program for 2024-2025. The purpose of our program is to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for children ages 5-10 to excel in their Qur’anic recitation and memorization, Qur’anic Arabic, and understanding of basic Islamic principles and manners. At Sanabil, we aim to foster a deep love and respect for the Qur’an, instill strong moral values and cultivate a comprehensive knowledge of Islamic teachings. Our dedicated approach ensures that each child receives personalized guidance to support their spiritual and academic growth, preparing them to be confident and knowledgeable young Muslims.

Sanabil Schools Hifz al-Qur’an Program Registration Information
Winter Session I:
  • Starting Date: September 30, 2024 
  • Ending Date: November 22, 2024
  • Ages: 5-10 years old
  • Location: Sanabil Elementary School – 6855 Deerpath Road, Elkridge MD, 21075
  • Teachers: Ustadh Abdul Samad Kamal & Mrs. Khadeeja Zwayen

Each day will consist of a structured 2-hour learning period designed to foster your child’s spiritual and academic growth in the following areas:

  1. Qur’anic recitation and memorization
  2. Qur’anic Arabic
  3. Understanding of basic Islamic principles and manners.

Community Food Drive with ISB

Giving Back to Our Community

We are excited to announce a school-wide community action project in partnership with ISB. This November, we will be collecting canned goods, baby formula, boxed food items and self-care items to donate to the local food bank at ISB. All collected items will go to families in need inshallah.
