Admission Process

Discovery Days

At our school, we believe that every child deserves to feel known, supported, and excited about learning. That’s why we require all prospective students to attend a Discovery Day before moving forward in the admissions process.

A Discovery Day is a full (or partial) school day where your child joins one of our classrooms and becomes part of the daily rhythm. They’ll meet future classmates, interact with our teachers, and participate in real classroom activities—everything from circle time and learning centers to outdoor play and lunch. It’s a gentle, welcoming way for your child to experience our school environment firsthand.

While your child is with us, our teachers will take the time to observe their learning style, social interactions, and overall readiness to ensure we can meet their needs and help them thrive. We know how important it is to find the right school fit—not just for academics, but for your child’s emotional and developmental well-being too.

We also welcome parents to connect with us before and after Discovery Day to ask questions and share insights about your child. This day is just as much about learning who your child is as it is about introducing them to the heart of our school.

Discovery Day is a required step before acceptance, and we’re excited to get to know your child in a way that’s personal, thoughtful, and full of care.
